Welcome to our introduction guide on Promoting Your Website! Whether you're a seasoned webmaster or just starting, this section, hopefully will give you an idea of some of the tool's use can use, places you can advertise as well helpful tips in promoting your website.
Special Considerations:
As "Social Media" is one of the main places that businesses start advertising (and is important), there is an etiquette to advertising on Social Media Platforms (especially Facebook). Over and over businesses get removed and banned from groups, due to not following rules. In some cases, group admins will file formal complaints/lawsuits for ethic violations (such as Bankers, Mortgage Brokers and Real Estate Agents). While some people believe groups are a free for all, it's not, and all it takes is one person to file the lawsuit or complaint and it may cost you thousands of dollars to defend in court. At the very least, it will cause you the opportunity to advertise your product from that group, and if that group has 4,000 members, you lost 4,000 opportunities for your branding and advertising.
